Your free trial
14 days, everything unlocked, no card needed. Here's exactly how it works and what happens at the end.
When you sign in for the first time you get 14 days, with everything switched on.
No card. No “start trial” button to hunt for. No billing details taken up front and quietly charged on day fifteen. You sign in and you’re writing.
What’s included
All of it. The editor and every slash command, the Lamp, the Altar, the Ascent across every horizon, photos, importing your old journal — there is no reduced trial version of Dayspring.
That’s deliberate. A journal that shows you your own life over time can’t demonstrate what it’s for in a crippled version.
Where to see how long is left
Settings → Billing shows the days remaining and the exact date it ends, along with a plain line confirming there’s no charge until then.
When it ends
You’ll be asked to subscribe. Nothing is deleted, and nothing is held hostage — you can still download a complete backup of everything you wrote, right from the screen that asks you to subscribe. Your writing is yours whether or not you pay us.
If 14 days wasn’t enough
There’s a Take another week option on that same screen, worth 7 more days. Press it and keep going.
It’s once per account, and it’s self-serve — you don’t have to email anyone or explain yourself. Some months are just busy.
If you need longer than that, ask us. We’d rather you decided properly than decided in a hurry.
Then what
